Short, honest rules for the Ophelia pet trade system. By sending a trade request (/pet trade or !trade) or accepting one, both traders agree to everything below.
Once both sides hit Ready, a 5-second countdown starts. When it ends, pet ownership swaps instantly and permanently. Nothing can undo a completed swap — not you, not the other trader, not staff.
If either side adds or removes even one pet, both Ready flags cancel and the countdown (if running) aborts. Trade only seals when both sides are Ready at the same time with a stable offer.
You can cancel during the 5-second countdown or cancel the whole trade while it's live. Use those seconds — after the timer, it's done. DM summaries are sent to both traders as receipts.
Trading swaps ownership, not location. A pet living in Server A stays in Server A after the trade — the new owner manages it there. That's why cross-server offers are allowed: you're trading who owns what, not where it lives.
Every trader has a per-server Pet Vault number (like 239812A). Pet IDs are never shown to users — vault numbers are the only public handle. Don't share your vault number expecting special treatment; it contains no sensitive data.
Max 10 pets per side per trade. Pets already offered in another active trade are locked and can't be added twice (no double-offer scams). Expired requests (24h+) clean themselves up.
Deals made outside Ophelia's trade page (other bots, DMs, real money) are not covered by any of this. Staff can't recover pets lost to off-platform deals. If someone pressures you to Ready fast — cancel and walk away.
Scam attempts, ready-flip manipulation, or using trades to harass users can get your pet-trading access revoked. Fusing or upgrading a pet that's mid-trade will fail the trade safely — both sides get notified.
